Unearthing your truth.

I will guide you towards getting to the bottom of patterns and longstanding dynamics that may be elusive to you. The sources of our struggles are often buried. Once insight happens there is the possibility for rearrangement, movement and eventually emotional relief. The key is to stay open to understanding how the past is connected to current life experiences. Insight and “practiced awareness” are the essential first steps towards rooted change.

  • Safety First

Central to my work is a consideration of safety. It’s critical to create a therapeutic relationship built on mutual trust and honesty. I'm committed to ensuring that you feel respected and validated throughout this process so that meaningful, productive work can take place.

  • A Psychodynamic Approach With A Twist

I hold the past accountable for some of what we experience in the present. We are a mixture of family trends, individual sensitivities, social and interpersonal influences and inherited personality traits. We each mature and develop according to who we are and what we have experienced in our life...and our personal development never stops. This interplay between our past and our present is always at work and is responsible for our uniqueness and our complexity. We look back not to judge or blame but for clarity and understanding.

  • Exploring Presence Together

I encourage an atmosphere of exploring without judgment. I do not give advice or directions. I offer theoretical frames for what you’re experiencing and if they resonate then the work has begun. It's a back and forth process of weaving threads from the past while laying foundations for pathways into the future, all while remaining aware of how these trends are revealing themselves in the present.

  • Committing To The Work

Results don't happen overnight. Deeper patterns take time to access. I am committed to accompanying you wherever you need to go, for as long as you need, in order for you to experience a sense of real change within. In this extremely fast-paced world all of us can benefit from learning how to slow down—slowing down in order to become familiar with how our feelings and thoughts drive how we make decisions and approach our lives.
